FOUNDER STORY

GRACE HAMILTON

Graci Noir is the brainchild of Jamaican Grammy-nominated dancehall queen, reality star of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, and experienced entrepreneur Grace ‘Spice’ Hamilton.

Spice, an entertainer who spends a lot of time traveling the world, understands that shopping between trips is complex, more so when shopping through multiple mediums. Understanding this pain led her to create the Graci Nori travel lifestyle brand, which focused on delivering a one-stop-shop for all essential travel needs.

In 2008, Spice founded a clothing boutique called Spicey Couture in her home country Jamaica, and in 10 years, has grown the business to a multi-million clothing boutique franchise across Jamaica. This experience and her passion for
travel and providing luxury on a budget led her to create the Graci Noir brand, an extension of Spicey Couture targeted toward customers and supporters worldwide.

MISSION STATEMENT

Grace Noir’s mission is to revolutionize your travel shopping experience by providing a single platform for you to access all the items needed to travel in style to your favorite destinations. With inclusivity and luxury at the forefront of the brand, Graci Noir prioritizes affordability and accessibility to people of diverse backgrounds.

OUR CHARITY

GRACE HAMILTON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION

The Grace Hamilton Women Empowerment Foundation (GHWEF), is a non-profit organization that undertakes programs dedicated to empowering and assisting in the education of women that will shape and accelerate the progress of their lives.

Formed in the Spring of 2018, Spice was compelled to develop a foundation that would give back the support, love and opportunity that she has experienced from her fans throughout her career. “I made a post on my page about being sad on that particular day, and not having someone to talk to, and with the number of women who reached out to me about what they are going through, it birthed the idea for me to start this foundation.”

GHWEF’s mission is to uplift women across the world through mentorship, educational and vocational opportunities so that they may realize their goals, “It’s designed to uplift all women and push them towards success despite life’s obstacles”. Officially launched on the 27th May, GHWEF’s emphasized its commitment to enrich women through business and entrepreneurship. The launch event fittingly announced its first recipient who was awarded a full scholarship to attend Utech University in Kingston Jamaica in the Fall, 2018.
